When Win2day and I teamed up on this project, we knew we were onto something special. I mean, who doesn't love a bit of animation and a whole lot of poker, am I right? Together, we set out to demystify the game of poker and bring all the excitement straight to your screen.
Win2day - Pokerteaser!

Welcome to the ultimate showdown at the virtual poker table, folks! Get ready to ante up and dive headfirst into the thrilling world of Texas Hold'em with Win2day's Pokerteaser – it's a wild ride you won't want to miss!
Character Development
Now, let's talk character development. We wanted our "bad guy" to embody the essence of a classic Viennese card shark – you know, the kind you'd find holding court at your local "Beisl." So I dove deep into Austrian TV series for inspiration, decked him out in gold chains and an open shirt, and topped it all off with a stylish hat. It's like bringing a slice of Vienna straight to your screen!

Storyboard
And hey, a project like this wouldn't be complete without a killer storyboard and some seriously slick asset design. I whipped up a deck of cards so sharp, you'll want to deal yourself in right away.

Asset Design
I designed a whole deck of cards and came to the conclusion that they were to detailed for our needs. So I simplified them so the viewer can distinguish them with one look. Some papertexture completed the look I was going for.
Pokerrigging

Rigging
And let's not forget about the rigs – thanks to Duik, our characters move with all the fluidity of a high-stakes poker game.

Animation
But enough talk – let's get to the good stuff: animation! I threw myself into the action, acting out every move to nail that perfect timing and flow. And when it came to those finer details, like our bad guy crossing his arms, Adobe Animate and After Effects were my trusty sidekicks.
3D Simulation
Last but not least, we sprinkled a little 3D magic into the mix with some confetti simulation, courtesy of C4D. Because hey, what's a poker party without a little bit of flair?
